No interest rate drop in March 2009, now what?
With no interest rate drop in March it makes you wonder what the state of play is with the economy. The US share market is up and down like a yo-yo so we are not getting very solid ground to work with there. 
Politicians and the like have been trying to convince us that the Australian economy will not be affected as badly as the economy’s of other countries. What then does this mean with no interest rate drop in March?
Are we finally seeing a slowing down of the bad economic news, or is it just the reserve bank being hopeful?
The next few months will be interesting to observe. The first half of the year is always a bit on the low side economically as families gather their finances together after Christmas and school starting.
